Announcement: The Band will Play at 2:00pm, Sunday

As many of you know, Chip played in a band called Crazy Chester. He loved being part of the band so much. Practicing at Chris' house (shots of Fireball for all) and playing on stage with the band at open-mic/amateur nights brought meaning and purpose to his life. Chip played rhythm guitar and the occasional bass guitar (With 7 guitars, he joked he had "Guitar Acquisition Syndrome." I never thought he was joking). He also sang backup vocals for 2 of his favorite songs: The Weight and Long-Haired Country Boy. The other members of the band are: JV Voivoda's (lead vocals), Eric Kritzler (bass guitar/back-up vocals), Dan Lowery (lead guitar) and Chris Sheer (drums). The band will play an acoustic set on Sunday at 2:00, following the service. The set will include his two favorite songs that the band plays. The pics are from an open mic night the band did at The Breakers Skylounge in Herndon, VA and a block party for one of the band member's friends. Chip was so blessed to have his long, long, longtime friends Vaughn and JB with him there that day.
