UPDATE: Blue Heron brought another message

After posting this morning about Blue Heron and Chip bringing a message to my friend Stephanie and me on June 3rd, Bob Byrne sent me a text with the 3 pictures here, taken at Breck's Mill on June 2nd. Clearly, Chip had a message via Blue Heron for Bob as well, although Bob stated he simply thought at the time that the pictures were "just kind of cool." The photos Bob took just a couple days after Chip died have taken on new and deeper meaning after receiving Stephanie's email.

Just now, while discussing Bob's photos and Stephanie's email with my daughter Eva, she reminded me that she had told me and Chip a few weeks before he died that she had chosen the Great Blue Heron as her spirit animal, for various reasons. Our discussion gave Stephanie's email and Bob's photos even greater meaning.

Bob, Sam and I visited Breck's Mill last night to feel the power of the waterfall, to hear its roar, and to catch the light of sunset. We saw 2 duck families, but no heron.

I will wait patiently for Blue Heron to visit me.
